  • Yes. You can earn up to 13 CE points across three categories at this year’s NDS. For full details please visit the Continuing Education points page.

  • No, there is no one day option available. The only registration option is to register for the entire symposium. If you do register for the symposium and only attend one of the days, you would be eligible to earn CE points for that day only.

  • If you arrive late, you will not be able to earn CE points for that particular day. Partial credits will not be allocated for attending only a portion of each symposium day. A 15-minute grace period after the start of the first AM and PM sessions will be in effect. If you arrive after the 15-minute grace period, you will not be able to earn CE points.

  • Yes, as part of the registration fee, breakfast, lunch, and snack breaks will be provided on both days of the symposium.

  • Speaker resources/slides will be made available to attendees after the event via an email link. Please note that not all speakers provide a copy of their slides and/or additional resources.

  • Children and strollers are not permitted on-site at the NDS. Parents with children should make other arrangements in advance as on-site child care is not available.

  • Your CE Certificate of Attendance record will be emailed to you after the symposium based on your scanning records. It is the responsibility of each member dentist to maintain his or her own continuing education records and report their CE activity to the RCDSO.

  • The Roundtable Exchange is an ask-the-expert event where different experts are seated at designated tables and participants will be able to ask their questions directly to the expert. A catalogue outlining experts’ areas of expertise and key competencies will be provided as a handout upon checking in at registration.

  • Yes. Registration and badge pick-up run from 8 - 9 a.m. Upon arrival, all attendees must check in and pick up their badge and handout package at the registration desk.

    *Important* Attendees must carry their name badges at all times to ensure re-entry into the Ballroom area. If attendees have lost or forgotten their badge, they will need to confirm their registration at the registration desk to be allowed re-entry.

  • Badges will be handed out upon arrival at the symposium at the registration desk. Badges will not be mailed out prior to the symposium. Note: Attendees must scan their badges when they arrive each morning and again in the afternoon (after lunch) when entering the lecture room.

  • Please note that the ODA engages an onsite photographer and a videographer to take shots and videotape the event, including the public areas and the Exhibits Floor for promotional purposes. Photos and video coverage are repurposed into the collateral materials for the event and on to the website. If you do not wish to be in the picture or on camera, please notify the photographer or the videographer.
